Ways To Improve Your Facebook Marketing

Are you overwhelmed with your Facebook marketing? Feel like you are only reaching a small segment of your followers? As I’m sure you’ve heard, Facebook’s organic reach is down very low. Depending on the types of posts many of your posts probably go unseen. I’m sure this frustrates you!

There are many different ways you can improve your Facebook marketing. Today, I focus on Facebook insights. Since this area is one that many of my clients ask for help in, I thought I’d start here. Do you know of Facebook insights? On business pages this is where you will find the metrics to your page. Facebook allows you to download it all to an Excel file, perfect to really focus on what is important.

Take a look at your reach. There are two things to focus on: ‘Fans Reached’ and ‘Organic Reach’. Fans reached refers to those people who follow you and saw your posts. Organic reach refers to everyone who saw your post. If you number is the same, there is more you can do to drive traffic to your Facebook page. The idea is to reach beyond your followers.

Adding a Facebook like button to your website or adding a find us on Facebook call to action in your emails or newsletters can help grow your numbers.

Also look at your engagement rates. The more engaged people are, the more they will see your posts. Consider changing up your content to get more engagement. The more that people actually click on will lead to higher click through rate (another insight to observe).

Monitor what people are clicking on and what they are not and offer more of what they are.
There are numerous facts and figures you will discover within your Facebook insights. The key is taking the time, often, to look through your metrics, see what is working and not, and make changes.

You can reach your followers, the tools are available, you just need to take a little time to better understand what they are and how they can help you.
